Christmas - Unique Celebrations Ideas

Christmas is a celebrated holiday in many nations worldwide. Here are three countries, Alaska, Africa and Australia all placed in vastly diverse areas of the world and all has their individual cultures and celebrations. Here are few of their fascinating myths and celebrations.
Alaska - "Carrying the Star" is a favorite Christmas procession. Young and old take elaborately furnished tinsel-trimmed rings with eight points, usually as big as sunshades. They are highlighted with a focused picture of both an angel or the nativity display. The stars symbolize the angels who declared the birth of Christ. Parents passionately maintain the stars. Some are more than a hundred years old!
Africa - There are nearly 350 million Christians in Africa who honor and celebrate Christmas. Importance is more on the religious celebrations of Christ's birth rather than a present offering. Though the considerable traditional gift (if nothing else) is new dresses which will be used to the church service. Persons are living in various regions of Africa such as Central African Republic (CAR), Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, and Kenya they believe it is a must thing to attend church on Christmas, even if they nevermore visit the rest of the year.
